Club Kickoff

Join us for the official kickoff event for Founders @ Hunter! This is your chance to meet the team, learn about our mission, and get a hands-on feel for what our club is about. Hosted by the Founders @ Hunter E-Board, this event is a relaxed but focused introduction to the world of startups and product building. Whether you're a seasoned coder, a business strategist, or just curious about entrepreneurship, you have a place here. This session is designed to be practical, collaborative, and action-oriented. Come ready to brainstorm, meet potential co-founders, and leave with a concrete sketch of a new idea. ​What to Bring: 1. A laptop or notebook for brainstorming 2. Your ideas and curiosity

• 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM: Welcome & Club Vision - Check-in, grab a seat, and meet other creative students. We'll give a brief introduction to the club, our mission, and the exciting events we have planned for the year.
• ​​2:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Pizza & Networking - Enjoy some free pizza while participating in a few fun, fast-paced icebreakers designed to get you thinking like a founder.
• ​2:30 PM - 3:30 PM: The Build Hour - This is where the action happens. Team up with other students to tackle a problem and brainstorm a startup idea in just 60 minutes. No coding is required — the goal is to flesh out a concept, strategy, and a business model.
• ​​3:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Demos, Prizes & Wrap-up - ​Teams will get a chance to present their ideas in a quick-fire pitch session. We'll have a few small prizes for the top ideas and an Audience Favorite award.
